What are your three favorite album covers of all-time? Any honorable mentions?
Question submitted by Tamara.
Good question! Here are my top three and some honourable mentions:
What was your most memorable or favorite school field trip?
New York City, grade 10.
It was an art field trip and after 12 or so hours on a coach, we did about six or seven different museums in three days. I remember the Guggenheim most vividly. I remember wanting more time at the the MOMA and having too much time at the Met. But that's not what was most memorable. It was sharing a room and bed with Emily Garrett.
In our tiny school of less than 500 students (from grade one to OAC), she was the queen of weirdness. She said she practiced witchcraft and in front of the entire class, proudly admitted to masturbating in the common room. In the common room! But in the New York hotel room, with our roommates Bree and Laura, she told us about not sleeping with underwear as she, wearing only a big t-shirt as she sat on my pillow. At 15, not yet the hippie-loving liberal I am now, I was traumatized. I mean, no underwear on my pillow. Of course, I didn't say anything. I was scared. Afterall, she had just gone shopping and bought both a medival dagger and sword.
I flipped over the pillow, but it was not a very good night's rest.
I'm just looking around and checking out the neighbourhood.
I'm always excited by new blogware but in the end, how is it really different from the rest of them?
I guess I'll find out.
Thanks for the warm welcome, strangers. read more
